This light-hearted RPG-esque system designed by SteelTheWarrior was borne of frisky fantasy, silly stories of over-the-top shenanigans and inspired by popular flash games like Corruption of Champions, Trials in Tainted Space and Flexible Survival! While some dancers prefer to keep their dance a mystery, they prefer to dissect and share their fundamental breakdowns of movements and illusions; sharing their boogie all over the United States and internationally. This is an 18+ Only event When Joe Strike created his fursona (and fursuit) “Komos” – a suave yet sinister anthropomorphic, shape-shifting Komodo dragon with powerful hypnotic abilities, he never thought his creation would wind up co-starring in a comic book with “Goldie,” a super-powered, golden Celtic sex goddess! Yet that’s exactly what happened when Oliver Coombes aka “Desiring Change,” Goldie’s Britfur creator suggested he and Joe collaborate on a comic book charting their creations’ adventures battling “Mr. Kulkin,” a shadowy and power-hungry corporate titan. Joe and Oliver recount their challenges turning their ideas into a focused comic book story, commissioning artists to turn their script into comic book pages, finding – and paying for – a printer to turn those pages into an actual comic book – and then doing it all over again for a second issue!

Whether you just learned about kink on or have had lifelong fantasies, many people have questions like, “Why am kinky?” or “Why am I turned on by things that seem so taboo?” or “Why do I fantasize about being in control or giving up control?” For some people, these are questions of curiosity and exploration. For others, these questions hold deep shame, confusion, or emotional distress that can interfere with full expression of their erotic, sexual and expressive selves. The pull to find answers and healing is powerful, especially when these desires and fantasies are not understood, or pathologized, especially when people reach out for help from therapists. What next, "Furry Universe"? Writing the Furry Nation sequel Furry Planet
2017 saw the publication of Joe Strike’s Furry Nation – not just the first look at furry fandom’s birth and history, and the people who made it happen, but the first history from a mainstream publisher with mainstream distribution. Now Joe is hoping to repeat that success with Furry Planet, due out in February from Apollo Publishers. In addition to new looks at key players and contributors to Furry, Furry Planet will examine mainstream anthropomorphism: the painters, authors and entertainers whose works feature anthropomorphic characters, and in particular, the many “performance artists” who “become” animals by creating and wearing their own fursuits and performing for avant-garde audiences. Joe will show examples of these creators’ works and explain why it was important for him to reach a non-furry audience via mainstream publishers to counteract the myths and misconceptions many still hold about the furry community.

Games will start at the top of every hour. We will run two copies of the same game simultaneously (Room A and Room B) in the Narita room, located on the bottom floor of the Hyatt Regency OHare. Recommended maximum group size 6. Got a bigger group? Book both rooms and race side by side!
