Unlike Lupus, no players get eliminated, instead some players will switch rooms between rounds. The game's objective is simple, the red team wants to end the game with the bomber in the same room as the blue team's leader. Learn how to use radio direction finding techniques and put them to the test to find the "fox" transmitter roaming around the con! Furry Variety Show

The FVS is a non-competitive variety show. It's a bit of Vaudeville, and sort of like being on the Muppet Show. We all cooperate as a team, and we mix and match performers to acts as needed. If you have a 'ready to go' act, we'll give you a spot. If you want to be in the show but don't have an act, join us and we'll add you to an existing act. We strongly prefer to have all of our actors featured as puppets or fursuits, or at the very least have some furry content. Our show will this year be held on Saturday evening. We also will be holding TWO rehearsals (Friday Evening and Saturday Morning). You only need to attend one of these. If you have a choice, try to attend the Friday rehearsal. Since our show is now during prime-time, we will be a bit stricter about adult content. Keep it PG folks! In rehearsal we lay down multiple 'masking tape' stages on the ballroom floor so that multiple acts can work out their marks and their timing in parallel. When we write, the narration we choose affects the way that our stories occur for our readers. First, second and third person can all be good choices depending on our goals, and the amount of knowledge and amount of bias that we give our narrators can also be used to various effects. We'll talk about how best to leverage choice of perspective and the level of bias and knowledge of narrators to make your stories stronger.

Science Fiction and Fantasy

As we explore the realms of science fiction and fantasy there are many worlds to explore and to play in as we create our stories, whether they be epic quests filled with wonder, exploring uncharted places, or clawing out an existence in a dystopian wasteland. Come sit withus as we discuss how to weave tales that include elements of science, magic, or some combination of the two.

Fantasy maps and writing

Whether it's a hand-drawn sketch of Middle Earth or the opening credits in "Game of Thrones," maps help lead audiences through stories by bringing universes to life. This panel covers geological and cultural principles in worldbuilding as well as the basics of mapmaking: how to design them, how to make them, and how to use them as a writer.

Fursuit Games

Come join us for a fun and exciting event where you romp around in fursuit, entertain yourself and others, and play silly little games in order to find who is the best fursuiter of them all! This event is open to all who want to participate or spectate! This is a great opportunity to get exposure to your costumes, to see silly fursuiters play games, and take lots of pictures!
