A little history, a little less mystery, and—if we can—a little chemistry! This panel is for anyone curious about film photography, whether you’ve never touched a roll of film or you’ve been shooting for years. We’ll explore what a camera really is, how film came to be, why it still exists in a digital world, and why it gets so much love. Along the way, we’ll look at real cameras, real film, and real photos—from the earliest processes to modern film stocks. If there’s time, we’ll even develop a roll of film live. No experience required.

Fursuit Figure Drawing
Come draw fursuiters as they pose for you. If you're in fursuit, you can come model, too! Props encouraged for models. Bring your own art supplies and sketchbooks.
Hand-sewing with PVC Fabric
Most people sew with a machine, but hand-sewing has lots of advantages, and for weird fabrics and fussy details it can be superior. It's also easily portable, making it ideal for a work-shop style presentation where attendees will be able to follow along. I plan on bring my giant scrap box and photo-copies of a few simple ear patterns, plus lots of needles and thread, and everyone will be able to come away from the panel with a pair of ears ready to be attached to a headband or hat.

The Science of Softness - Exploring Plasticizer, The Key Ingredient to Soft Vinyl
Get ready for a friendly, approachable deep dive into one of the most important parts of vinyl chemistry. Plasticizers are the unsung heroes that make our toys soft, flexible, and alive with that signature feel we all love. In this session, we’ll explore what plasticizers actually are, how they work inside vinyl, why different types behave differently, and how all of this affects the way toys age, stretch, soften, or become brittle over time. We’ll walk through the major plasticizers used in today’s pool toys, compare their strengths and weaknesses, and break down common myths you’ve probably seen floating around the community. Whether you’re a casual collector, a hardcore restorer, or someone curious about why some toys stay soft for twenty years while others lose their magic, this panel will give you a clear, grounded understanding of what’s really going on beneath the surface. You’ll leave with real, practical knowledge: how to identify different plasticizer behaviors, how to care for aging vinyl, and what restoration methods actually work. No chemistry degree required, just curiosity and love for the toys that keep us afloat.
